ENRICHED OFFICE

Client: Schiphol Real Estate

Schiphol Real Estate gave us the assignment to increase happiness and well-being at work. Together with Jenny Morton, Professor neurobiology from University of Cambridge, our team of designers went to research how we can translate the 5 stimuli (motor, visual, somatosensory, circadian rhythms and cognition) into the office environment.

Along the process, we found out there is no such thing as one perfect enriched office that applies to all. To understand what type of enrichment works best for every person, we made three different sets with a variety of intensities: Plain, Spicy and Extra Chunky. With this Enriched Office set-up, we can research what type of enrichment suits best to what type of person and what working activity.
